The 1873 FM Manager to attend African Youth Development Summit
The 1873 FM Station Manager Stanley Dube (aka Wildfire Deejay) has been accepted to be one of the Top 100 young Africans attending the prestigious African Youth Development Summit which will be held from 29 November to 2 December.
In a letter directed to Dube, Junior Chamber International Secretary General Arrey Obenson said:
Dear Stanley Dube,
You have been accepted to attend the African Youth Development Summit.
After receiving over 700 applications from across the continent, you have been selected as one of the 100 incredible young people to attend the Summit. The Summit will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, beginning in the Pan-African Parliament on 29 November and ending on the 2 December at the Global Citizen Festival!

Please confirm your attendance by Thursday, Nov. 15. Failure to confirm will result in giving your place to someone on our wait list.
Dube will also be given a ticket to attend the Global Citizens Festival on December 2, 2018.
Commenting on the development Dube said, “I am very humbled to be accepted as on of the top 100 young people to be participating in the Summit. I am looking forward to sharing notes with other young people. We come from different backgrounds and have different experiences therefore it will be very beneficial to me as an individual to be in the company of other young Africans as we learn from each other. This opportunity also will be used as a means of expanding my network which translate to my net worth. “
