BOAF inducts Mr. Benedictus Makumbe to Africa’s 10,000 Points of Light

He began his professional career in March 2012 as a Financial Management Tutor at the University of Johannesburg followed by a stint as a Financial Markets Analyst and Trader in January 2016.

In February 2014, he joined SNG Grant Thornton as a Trainee Chartered Accountant and rose through the ranks to assume the position of Manager in January 2017.

In February 2019, he joined the firm of EY as a Manager.

Mr. Makumbe is Mr. Mawere’s connection who invited him to be part of the class of 10000 POL and they share 447 mutual connections.

“Our objective is to efficiently and effectively build a bank of 10,000 names like Mr. Makumbe who have currency in their persons and work ethic to begin to answer the question why it is the case that it is often impossible to transform connections into communities.
