BOAF Inducts Ms. Eniya Phiri to 10,000 Points of Light

“On behalf of the Banking on Africa’s Future (BOAF), it is my pleasure and honour to welcome Ms. Eniya Phiri to the prestigious 10,000 Points of Light (POL) club, as number (BOAF0452) towards our target of 10,000 names in the BOAF, as an exceptional person and a hugely talented presenter. Her warm heart, generous spirit, and wonderful sense of humour, has touched the lives of so many,” said Stanley Karombo, a member of the BOAF initiative powered by The 1873 FM www.the1873fm.com and The 1873 Network, www.the1873network.org

Ms. Eniya Eniya is a Radio presenter at ZNBC RADIO 2. She lives in Zambia. As one of the youngest members of the ZBNC Radio 2 team, she enjoys the opportunity to travel the entire country – and many more exciting destinations.

In her few years as a presenter, she has made friends of local, international celebrities and fans alike. She has a disarming ability to win over stars she interviews or strangers she had never met as if they were personal friends.

She displays thorough professionalism when dealing with crew/on air anchors and all television support staff.

Speaking with Mr. Tinashe Mupasiri, the host of Sandton Express on Monday, Ms Eniya said, “I had a passion for broadcasting, particularly radio, at a younger age and my earliest memory of myself listening to the radio was when I was at the age of three.”

Mr Mupasiri’s show is aimed at building borderless communities and exposing how digital transformation has enabled the building of such communities.  The radio show is powered by the 1873 FM www.the1873fm.com, a community radio station based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

“It is my distinct honour and privilege to induct Ms Eniya in our project to create a visible and accessible bank of people using technology and secure the future that Africa and its inhabitants deserve,” Mr. Stanley Dube station manager of The 1873 FM www.the1873fm.com and The 1873 Network, www.the1873network.org.
