BOAF Inducts Ms Nonhle Thema to 10,000 Points of Light

“On behalf of the Banking on Africa’s Future (BOAF), it is my pleasure and honour to welcome Ms. Nonhle Thema to the prestigious 10,000 Points of Light (POL) club, as number (BOAF0435) towards our target of 10,000 names in the BOAF, for starting own training academy where she equips people, young and old, with the skills they need to make it, not only in the entertainment industry but in business as well,” said Stanley Karombo, a member of the BOAF initiative powered by The 1873 FM www.the1873fm.com and The 1873 Network, www.the1873network.org

A former TV personality, Ms. Nonhle is taking everything she has learned in her career and using it to mould the presenters of tomorrow. 

“I teach – young and old people – on how to be a presenter – reading scripts, writing scripts [and] how to memorise scripts if you’re an actress,” she added that her academy includes other programs like makeup and image consulting classes.

She is well-known for presenting the music shows O-Boma and O-Access, both on Channel O. Thema has co-hosted the daily live entertainment news show V Entertainment on DStv’s Vuzu channel. She has had her own reality show, “Nonhle Goes to Hollywood” which aired on Vuzu channel in 2011. Thema has served as the Global Ambassador of Dark and Lovely products. She was a presenter at VUZU.TV until July 2011.
